Central Global Berhad announce that the company's wholly-owned sub-subsidiary, RYRT International Sdn. Bhd. had accepted a letter of award awarded by an unrelated party, Pembinaan Urusmesra Sdn. Bhd. in respect of the sub-contract works for Pan Borneo highway worth RM616.3 million.
The job included for the supplying of plant, machinery, labour and material required for the construction and completion of the highway phase 1B. The contract it said was for a period commencing on 30 September 2024 and ending on 29 March 2028.
It also includes Environmental Protection and Enhancement, Traffic Management and Control, safety and Health Management, Maintenance Works, Demolition and Site Clearance, Earthworks, Geothenical Works, Drainage Work, Road and Pavings, Bridge work, Street Lighting, Road Furniture, and any provisional sum items as instructed by the employer, Jabatan Kerja Raya Sabah (JKR Sabah).
The acceptance of the contract is said to be the ordinary course of business of RYRT and will enhance the existing order book and is expected to provide a steady stream of revenue to the Group over the next three and a half years.
