FGV Served With RM90 Million Suit For Breach Of Agreement
FGV Holdings Berhad announced that its indirect subsidiary, FGV Bulkers Sdn Bhd has been served with a Writ of Summon by South Asian International Distribution for breaching the Supply and Delivery Agreement back in February 2023 for the supply and delivery of Palm Kernel Shells.
FGV Holdings Berhad宣佈，其間接子公司FGV Bulkers Sdn Bhd因違反了2023年2月供應和交付棕櫚仁殼的供應和交付協議而獲得南亞國際分銷公司的傳票令。
The writ claims that a declaration that any agreement (whether expressly or impliedly made by the company) to the increase of price of PKS within the 6-month period of the SDA shall be null and void; b) Damages in the sum of RM4,443,859.70, being losses pleaded c) Damages in the sum of RM86,399,575, being losses pleaded d) Further and/or alternatively, general damages to be awarded pursuant to the findings of the Court and Pre-judgment interest
該令狀聲稱，在SDA的6個月期限內關於提高PKS價格的任何協議（無論是公司明示還是默示達成）的聲明均屬無效；b) 總額爲RM4,443,859.70的損害賠償，屬於已申訴的損失 c) 總額爲86,399,575令吉的損害賠償 d) 進一步和/或者，一般損害賠償根據法院的調查結果和判決前的利息
FGV said it does not expect that there will be any material operational and financial impact from the Suit for the financial year FGVB said it is currently seeking legal advice and will make further announcements on any material development in the Suit in due course.
FGV表示，預計該訴訟不會對該財政年度產生任何實質性的運營和財務影響。FGVB表示目前正在尋求法律諮詢，並將在適當時候就該訴訟的任何實質性進展發佈進一步公告。
