Majuperak Holdings Berhad announced the cessation of its Group Chief Executive Officer in December as Syed Agil Syed Hashim will no longer be with the group.

Syed Agil took over the post in 2022, he was previously the Chief Financial Officer.

The Perak state owned entity stated that effective December 1, a board committee which is a ad hoc coordination committee will be managing the day to day operation in the interim until a new group CEO is appointed.
