Berjaya Disposes 32 Million Shares In REDTone For RM29 Million
Berjaya Corporation announced today that its fully owned subsidiary had disposed a total of 32.00 million ordinary shares representing about 4.14% equity interest in REDtone Digital Berhad via a direct business transaction for a cash consideration of RM29.76 million.
Berjaya Corporation今天宣佈，其全資子公司已通過直接商業交易以2976萬令吉的現金對價出售了共計3200萬股普通股，相當於RedTone Digital Berhad約4.14％的股權。
Following the Disposal, BCorp now hold a total of 283,277,692 REDtone Shares representing about 36.65% equity interest in REDtone. The cash consideration for the Disposal was arrived at after taking into consideration the prevailing market prices of the REDtone Shares at the time of the Disposal.
出售後，BCorp現在共持有283,277,692股RedTone股票，相當於RedTone約36.65％的股權。此次出售的現金對價是在考慮了出售時RedTone股票的現行市場價格後得出的。
The Disposal is expected to increase the equity (under the consolidation reserve) in the Statements of Financial Position of the BCorporation Group by about RM7.68 million.
此次出售預計將使BCorporation集團財務狀況表中的股權（合併儲備金下）增加約768萬令吉。
