NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Churchill Asset Management LLC ("Churchill" or the "Firm"), an investment specialist of Nuveen, announced today that Anne Philpott, Managing Director, Junior Capital & Private Equity Solutions ("PEJC"), has been named to WSJ Pro Private Equity's 2024 Women to Watch List.
"Anne is a cornerstone of the PEJC team, and we are thrilled to see her honored among such an esteemed group of women," said Jason Strife, Head of Junior Capital and Private Equity Solutions at Churchill. "Her relationship-driven approach with GPs is instrumental in building enduring partnerships and maintaining Churchill's blue-chip reputation as an investor. Additionally, Anne has proven herself a trailblazer in advancing diversity and inclusion across the financial services industry."
Anne oversees Churchill's $11 billion private equity fund commitment mandate, which deploys over $1 billion annually as a limited partner to U.S. middle market private equity firms. She also serves as one of four members on the PEJC Investment Committee, serving as a key decision maker for several strategies, including LP commitments, equity co-investments, structured capital, secondaries and junior capital transactions.
Anne serves as Co-Head of Churchill's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Council. Additionally, she helped launch and now leads Nuveen's Diverse Managers program, a platform focused on making commitments to minority or women-owned private equity firms in the U.S. Anne's dedication to DEI earned both her and Churchill a spot on DEIC's Power100: Top Allocators list in May 2024.
