The group said everyone at Maxis is grieving the passing of Mr. Ananda Krishnan whose philanthropy improved the lives of many and his contributions to the development of Malaysia and the business world were significant. Notably, the astute businessman with his wise guidance over the years helped steer Maxis to become the strong business it is today
Ananda started Maxis back in 1995 and had it listed in 2002 as Maxis Communications, not satisfied with the valuation, he then privatised Maxis and delisted it in 2007 only to float it again in 2009.
