Akoustis Appeals $38.6M Judgment Plus $18.4M Attorneys' Fees In Qorvo Litigation To United States Court Of Appeals For The Federal Circuit
On November 29, 2024, Akoustis Technologies, Inc. (the "Company") submitted notice to the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware (the "District Court") that it is appealing to the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit the judgment (the "Judgment") entered in the matter of Qorvo Inc. vs. Akoustis Technologies, Inc. DE Case 1:21-cv-01417-JPM (the "Qorvo Litigation"), including approximately $38.6 million in damages, approximately $18.4 million in attorneys' fees and pre-judgment interest, and post-judgment interest accrued and accruing thereon, as well as the permanent injunction described in the Current Report on Form 8-K filed by the Company with the Securities and Exchange Commission on October 17, 2024.
