On the decliners' side, foodstuff distributor Nestle (Malaysia) Bhd today lost 78 sen intraday to top the decliners' chart, as the stock price fell below the RM100 threshold to RM99.22. 
Plantation stocks today occupied the first and second spots of the top gainers' list. United Plantations Bhd gained 64 sen to settle at RM32.00 while Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd added 26 sen to close at RM21.66.
