Singapore's manufacturing output increased by 8.5% in November 2024 on a year-on-year (YoY) basis.

Excluding biomedical manufacturing, output increased by 13%. On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, manufacturing output decreased by 0.4% during the period.

The chemicals markets saw a decline of 1.1% due to other chemicals decreasing by 5% with a lower output of fragrances and the specialties segment contracting by 28%. This offset the petroleum and petrochemicals segments, which grew by 11.3% and 1.1% respectively.
