Keyfield To Acquire Vessel From Sinocommerce For RM79 Million
Keyfield International Berhad announced that its wholly owned subsidiary has agreed to acquire a 5-year old Dynamic Positioning 2 Platform Supply Vessel to be renamed as Keyfield Gratitude for RM79 million.
Keyfield International Berhad宣佈,其全資子公司已同意以7900萬令吉的價格收購一艘已有5年曆史的動態定位2平台供應船,將其更名爲Keyfield Gratitude。
The company said the vessel will be deployed into its own vessel chartering business, where its customers transport materials and equipment between shore and offshore platforms. It has an accommodation capacity of 59 persons.

The vessel is being acquired from Sinocommerce Harbour Engineering Co., Ltd for a cash consideration of USD 17.6 million (equivalent to RM79.22 million), which it said will be funded via the Sukuk proceeds. In addition, Keyfield expects to incur approximately USD2.0 million (equivalent to RM9.0 million) of its own internal funds for additional capital expenditure to bring Gratitude back to Malaysia and to ready it for operations.
