Tesla is gearing up for a Robotaxi launch event on October 11th at 10 pm ET. Chief Elon Musk has long touted the future of self-driving: cars that will autonomously ferry customers from place to place, a fleet of customer-owned vehicles creating revenue while their owners are not using them- in a mix between Uber and Airbnb. Thursday night, he will present that updated dream in a Warner Bros movie lot, off of public roads.

Musk has promised self-driving before- even saying robotaxis would arrive in 2020. The presentation comes at a time when Tesla delivaries are declining, while the stock $テスラ (TSLA.US)$ trades at 83X earnings- compared to $エヌビディア (NVDA.US)$ that trades at 36X earnings.
