China's cabinet said to implement regulations on protecting critical information infrastructure from Sept 1; any purchases of internet products and services that may affect national security by operators should go through security scrutiny, the State Council said in a statement. Without approval or authorization, no individual or organization shall conduct vulnerability detection, permeability testing and other activities that may affect or endanger the security of the critical information infrastructure.
