Cyxtera Share Price bumped 360% in less than 2 weeks
Share price of DCRU’s 2nd largest tenant CYXTERA bumped up ~360% (from 1.7 cent to 7.8 cents) in less than 2 weeks, this is after CYXTERA filed chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in early June 2023.
Since equityholders haven’t been wiped out completely, the chance of CYXTERA defaulting the signed leases (with passing rents significantly below the current market rents) is becoming minimal. But every investor has to make his/her own risk/return judgement.
DCRU couldn’t buy back more shares during the black-out period before result anouncement by end July, but share price found a solid bottom around $0.48/unit with heavy transaction volume. Annualized dividend yield is close to 10% based on TTM results but MOMO APP shows a wrong yield of 5% only. Is MOMO APP’s system error misleading retail investors?
My Conclusion: keep accumulating more $DigiCore Reit USD (DCRU.SG)$ at $0.48/share, before price bounced back to $0.6/share.
