EITA Resources Bhd's subsidiary, TransSystem Continental Sdn Bhd (TSC), has secured a RM56.31 million contract from Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) for the rehabilitation of a main intake substation in Gurun, Kedah.
TSC's scope of work includes the supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a new 132kV outdoor transmission substation, with the contract effective from end- November 2023 and spanning two years.
The project is expected to positively contribute to EITA's earnings throughout the contract duration.
EITA's shares concluded the trading day at 82 sen, marking a decrease of 2 sen or 2.38%. This resulted in the group's market capitalisation standing at RM213.76 million.
