PJBumi Bhd's external auditor, Messrs Chengco PLT, has voluntarily resigned, effective in 21 days from February 5, citing a disagreement over audit fees.
The resignation is attributed to the inability of PJBumi and Chengco to reach a consensus on the proposed increase in audit fees for the financial statements ending December 31, 2023.
PJBumi clarified that there are no other matters requiring attention from its shareholders.
