Temporary traffic diversions will be in effect from July 31 to August 7, daily from 10 pm to 6 am, due to road closures for the Light Rapid Transit 3 (LRT3) project at Persiaran Bandar Utama, Selangor.
Setia Utama LRT 3 Sdn Bhd, the contractor for LRT3, announced that the closures will affect the right-most lanes of Persiaran Bandar Utama (slip road-bound towards Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP)) and Persiaran Bandar Utama (towards BU2 and Sri Pentas). The diversions are being carried out with the approval of the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) and Amanat Lebuh Rakyat's (ALR), and the company has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
The LRT3 project aims to connect two million people between Bandar Utama and Klang and is a significant part of the Greater Kuala Lumpur/Klang Valley (GKL/KV) Land Public Transport Masterplan. This project will play a crucial role in extending rail connectivity to the Western Corridor of GKL/KV.
