Awantec Behad via its subsidiary had entered into a Service Agreement with Sabah Net Sdn. Bhd.for the subscription of Google Workspace Enterprise Starter License.
Based on the deal Awantec is to provide 10,384 Google Licences annualy to SNSB for a period of five years commencing on 1 August 2024 and expiring on 31 July 2029.
Sabah.net is a wholly owned by the State Government of Sabah and is tasked with spearheading Sabah's digital transformation within the public sector of Sabah.
In consideration of Awantec providing the service Sabah.net will be paying Awantec the sum of Ringgit Malaysia: Nine Million RM9,968,640.00.
