Bursa Malaysia Bounces Back With 2.47% Surge After Heavy Sell-Off

Bursa Malaysia made a dramatic recovery on Tuesday, reversing the previous day's steep declines.

The FBM KLCI surged 37.91 points, or 2.47%, reaching an intraday high of 1,574.39. This rebound marks the most significant gain since a 4.04% rise on November 24, 2022.

All sectoral indices ended the day in positive territory, reflecting broad-based gains.

Advancers outnumbered decliners by a margin of 1,083 to 309, with 348 counters remaining unchanged.

Trading activity was robust, with 6.4 billion shares changing hands, valued at RM5.3 billion.
