JF Technology Berhad, a leading Malaysian innovator and manufacturer of high-performance test contacting solutions for global integrated circuit (IC) makers, has announced a strategic partnership with US-based Ironwood Electronics, Inc. The partnership, cemented through a cross-distribution agreement, aims to expand both companies' geographical presence and market reach.

Under the agreement, JF Technology will incorporate Ironwood Electronics' advanced contact assembly cartridges, including their latest ATE-P contact assembly for high-performance BGA/LGA testing, into their offerings. In turn, Ironwood Electronics will utilise JF Technology's high-performance contact pins, known for their exceptional durability and precision, within their test sockets.

Ironwood Electronics, renowned for its bench top laboratory and characterisation test sockets, is keen to introduce its high insertion count variants of advanced testing technology to the automated test equipment (ATE) marketplace. Headquartered in Minnesota, USA, Ironwood Electronics is a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange-listed company with a market capitalisation exceeding USD28 billion (NYSE: HEI).

This collaboration will allow both companies to leverage each other's strengths—Ironwood's proprietary laminated contact assemblies and JF Technology's high-performance contact pins—while expanding their product offerings globally. JF Technology will focus on distributing these advanced solutions across Asia, while Ironwood will concentrate on the US and European markets.
