Ault Disruptive Technologies Corp (NASDAQ:ADRT) shares are trading lower by 15.8% to $12.63 during Friday's session after the company delivered a termination notice to Gresham, notifying that it was exercising its right to terminate the merger agreement, effective August 15.
This news comes following Gresham's recent bankruptcy filing. The merger was initially agreed upon in June 2024. No termination fees will be paid by either party.
Despite the termination, Ault Alliance, Inc. says the company will retain majority ownership of both companies, and their boards of directors will continue to share several members.
