Have Intellicheck Insiders Been Selling Stock?

Investors may wish to note that the CFO & COO of Intellicheck, Inc., Jeffrey Ishmael, recently netted US$84k from selling stock, receiving an average price of US$2.28. It might not be a huge sale, but it did reduce their holding size 14%, hardly encouraging.

Intellicheck Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

In fact, the recent sale by CFO & COO Jeffrey Ishmael was not their only sale of Intellicheck shares this year. Earlier in the year, they fetched US$3.95 per share in a -US$102k sale. While insider selling is a negative, to us, it is more negative if the shares are sold at a lower price. The good news is that this large sale was at well above current price of US$2.29. So it may not tell us anything about how insiders feel about the current share price.

Happily, we note that in the last year insiders paid US$69k for 36.42k shares. But insiders sold 66.96k shares worth US$191k. In total, Intellicheck insiders sold more than they bought over the last year. They sold for an average price of about US$2.86. We are not joyful about insider selling. However, we do note that the average sale price was significantly higher than the current share price (which is US$2.29).
