Mr DIY has come out clarifying that reports published by local business media and a daily on Mr DIY Thailand and Indonesian also said to be eyeing an IPO has got noting to do with the company despite the name being similar.
In a Bursa filing today (12/9) the group said although the name of these companies are same but they are neither subsidiaries nor associate companies and that the local entity does not have any investments in any of these companies. However, it noted that both Mr DIY Thailand and Mr DIY Indonesia share the same major shareholder.
