Econframe Bhd's revenue for the financial year ended Aug 31, 2024 (FY24) surged 36.4% year-on-year (YoY) to an all-time high of RM103.5 million, surpassing last year's record of RM75.9 million.
The double-digit improvement stemmed from stronger sales by the manufacturing and trading segments.
FY24 revenue from the manufacturing segment rose 32.3% YoY to RM86.4 million from RM65.3 million, mainly attributed to the sustained demand and contribution from its aluminium glazing and façade works business.
Meanwhile, the trading segment followed a similar trend with a YoY growth of 61.7% to RM17.1 million for FY24, up from RM10.6 million a year ago.
The group reported a profit after tax of RM11.7 million for FY24 compared to RM13.1 million in FY23.
Econframe's revenue for the fourth quarter ended Aug 31, 2024 (4Q24), increased 16.3% YoY to RM24.4 million from RM21 million in 4Q23.
In recognition of shareholders' support, Econframe declared an interim single-tier dividend of two sen per share for FY24, which translates to a dividend payout ratio of 61.9% based on FY24 earnings per share of 3.2 sen.
