MNHB announced that its subsidiary MN Power Transmission Sdn Bhd had received an award of contract for the installation of a Battery Energy Storage System by Tenaga Nasional for a contract value of RM63 million.
The contract details are basically for an extension of new 1 x 132 kilovolt Overhead Lines Battery Energy Storage System Interconnection Facilities Bay at existing transmission main intake 132/11kV Santong Air Insulated Switchgear and new PMU
132/33kV Santong BESS (1x120MVA) (AIS).
The group views the contract to contribute positively to the future earnings and earnings per share and will not have any effect on the issued share capital and the shareholding of the substantial shareholders.
