Alpha IVF1 Group's Singapore operation has expanded its specialist team by adding three leading fertility experts to deliver innovative and effective treatment options for needy couples as Singapore is experiencing low fertility rate, according to a press release circulated by Alpha IVF.
Alpha Singapore has aligned itself with the government's initiatives to encourage parenthood, as the island city's fertility rate hit a historic low of 0.97 in 2023, calling for reliable and advanced fertility services to address the pressing social issue.
The strategic expansion of Alpha Singapore saw the addition of three leading IVF specialists that has enlarged its medical team to five Consultant Obstetricians & Gynaecologists. The fertility clinic is targeting increased patient load by leveraging on its track record of success rates to thrive in Singapore's low-fertility environment that has resulted in rising demand of high-quality and effective reproductive treatment.
The newly appointed specialists who joined in November 2024 are namely Dr Yu Su Ling, Dr Chua Ka-Hee and Dr Lily Kho Chye Lee.
Dr Yu Su Ling is a prominent IVF specialist with over 30 years of experience known for her well recognised work in IVF, menopause, and gynaecological endocrinology. She previously led Singapore General Hospital's Centre for Assisted Reproduction. She now serves as Alpha Singapore's Clinical Governance Officer (previously called Medical Director).
Dr Chua Ka-Hee, on the other hand, is an expert in fertility and andrology, bringing over 15 years of experience and a patient-centric approach to reproductive care, while Dr Lily Kho Chye Lee has over a decade of experience in maternal care, gynaecological surgeries and fertility.

Oncology Specialist), making Alpha Singapore one of the largest IVF centres in Singapore with five medical doctors and an annual capacity of up to 1,000 IVF cycles.
Alpha IVF Group primarily focuses on Assisted Reproductive Services (ARS), with a strong emphasis on In-vitro Fertilisation (IVF). In addition to IVF, Alpha IVF Group provides various assisted reproductive procedures, including intracytoplasmic sperm injection, intrauterine insemination, diagnostics, testing, screening procedures, and Cyrotec cryopreservation of eggs, sperm, and embryos.
To date, Alpha IVF Group operates one IVF centre in Singapore, three IVF centres in Malaysia, a sales representative office in China; and soon facilities in Indonesia and the Philippines.
