Econ Healthcare Limited's profit after tax and minority interest increased by 96.3% year-on-year (YoY) to $3.7m during the first half of the year (H1 2024).
The company said this was due to its Singapore segment revenue achieving $32.7m for the period, reflecting a 33.7% YoY increase.
This growth was driven by the stronger performance of Econ's nursing home operations and newly acquired subsidiary, Ambulance Medical Service Private Limited.
The interim dividend stood at 0.48 cents per ordinary share for H1 2024.
The group said it anticipates growth in the nursing home sector of Singapore, Malaysia, and China.
