Astro Malaysia has announced that there will be price adjustments for subscribers in accordance with Netflix stating that it will be adjusting its subscription prices for all plans (Basic, Standard, and Premium) in Malaysia, effective Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 10 AM.
The local private operator, said while these price changes will be implemented, customers with Netflix bundled in their subscription packs will not see the price change take effect until March 1, 2025. Until then, the current subscription prices for these bundles will remain in place.
As for non Astro customers, including new Netflix sign ups the new pricing will be immediately applicable for all new Netflix add-on subscriptions starting November 14, 2024 while existing users who subscribed to Netflix via Astro before November 14, 2024, the price change will take effect from their billing cycle starting on or after November 21, 2024.
