Banyan Tree Krabi, a luxury resort nestled on the serene Tubkaek Beach in Southern Thailand's Andaman coast, has been awarded Two Keys by the MICHELIN Guide's new hotel recognition programme, MICHELIN Keys. This accolade highlights the resort's excellence in architecture, service quality, character, value for money, and contributions to the local community.
The MICHELIN Guide, known for its prestigious restaurant star ratings, introduced the key ranking system for the first time this year, with Banyan Tree Krabi being one of only four Krabi-based resorts to receive the distinction. The 2024 MICHELIN Guide recognised a total of 58 hotels across Thailand, with Banyan Tree Krabi standing out as one of 19 to receive Two Keys.
Additionally, the resort's Banyan Tree Spa Krabi earned a spot among the seven "most luxurious" spas in Thailand, praised for its signature experience, The Rainforest. This hydrotherapy facility features a variety of wellness treatments including a Rain Walk, steam rooms, ice fountains, and vitality pools, designed to offer guests a serene and rejuvenating experience.
The spa has also introduced a new weightless therapy offering, a flotation therapy designed to alleviate pain and stress while promoting deep relaxation. This holistic therapy has been well-received by guests, providing a unique, sensory experience.
Banyan Tree Krabi's commitment to holistic wellness extends to its "Wellbeing Sanctuary" programme, which combines luxury relaxation with personal wellness pursuits such as Thai boxing, massage, nature trails, and personalised consultations.
