Guangzhou Great Power Energy and Technology announced that the company plans to invest in the construction of a 10GWh energy storage cell and energy storage system manufacturing plant and an independent shared energy storage research and development base project in Guangde City, Anhui Province, with a total planned investment of 5 billion yuan. The project will be implemented in two phases, with Phase I scheduled for completion and operation in September 2025, and Phase II to be implemented according to the investment plan.

The funding for this investment project will come from the company's own resources or self-raised funds. The company is expected to raise project construction funds through a combination of stocks and bonds, including but not limited to bank financing, convertible bond issuance, preferred stock issuance, rights issue, non-public offering of shares, and other means. The specific financing direction and plan have not yet been determined, and no relevant financing agreements have been signed. The implementation of this project will not pose risks to the company's cash flow or related finances for the current year, but delayed financing in the future may hinder the project progress. If the debt amount is significant, it may increase financial expenses.

As of the disclosure of the third quarter report, Guangzhou Great Power Energy and Technology's cash and cash equivalents amounted to 1.378 billion yuan, far from meeting the 5 billion yuan investment plan. In October, Guangzhou Great Power Energy and Technology announced plans to establish new projects in Xinyang County, Zhumadian City, including a new small power square aluminum shell lithium-ion battery production capacity of 30,000 units per day and a new electrically capacitive lithium-ion battery production capacity of 500,000 units per day, with a total planned investment of 1 billion yuan.

In addition, the company has signed a supplementary agreement to the 'Zhumadian New Energy Entrepreneurship Investment Fund Limited Partnership Agreement' with Zhongjin Huirong, Zhumadian Huai Funds, and Zhanxin Ventures. The company has subscribed 200 million yuan, accounting for 40% of the subscribed capital.

In July, Guangzhou Great Power Energy and Technology announced plans to invest in the construction of an annual output of 10GWh energy storage cell and system integration project and annual output of 1GWh of semi-solid-state battery project. The fixed asset investment for the energy storage project is about 1.8 billion yuan (RMB), and for the semi-solid-state battery project about 500 million yuan (RMB).
