At 4:01 p.m. ET, the $Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC.US)$ was off 0.32%. The $Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI.US)$ was up 0.32% and $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ was flat.
Nvidia closed off 0.76% as market watchers await its highly anticipated earnings.
Natural-gas futures jumped 6.5% Wednesday, reaching their highest price in almost a year. Traders are anticipating demand will increase after a mild autumn.
Along with Nvidia, $Snowflake (SNOW.US)$and $Palo Alto Networks (PANW.US)$ will report earnings after the bell.
