
Food and beverage stocks today dominated the decliners' list. Nestle (Malaysia) Bhd was the top decliner, losing RM2.50 to settle at RM95.00, the lowest price in 24 months. The turnover for the stock stood at 453,200 units/shares at closing.
Foodstuff distributor PPB Group Bhd also gave up a massive 62 sen, or nearly 4.6%, to settle at RM13.00 on a volume of over 3.0 million1 units/shares, while beverage supplier Fraser & Neave Holdings Bhd trimmed 40 sen to close at RM28.00 on a moderate turnover of 83,700 units/shares.
