We note that the Mitek Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:MITK) GM & Senior VP of Digital Banking, Michael Diamond, recently sold US$66k worth of stock for US$9.16 per share. On the bright side, that's just a small sale and only reduced their holding by 3.1%.

Mitek Systems Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

The Senior VP of Identity & Head of Products, Chris Briggs, made the biggest insider sale in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for US$266k worth of shares at a price of US$11.10 each. While we don't usually like to see insider selling, it's more concerning if the sales take place at a lower price. The good news is that this large sale was at well above current price of US$8.90. So it may not shed much light on insider confidence at current levels.
