The Dow hits its seventh straight day of losses, representing its longest streak since 2020 as the markets closed mixed.
At 4:01 p.m. ET, the $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ closed off flat, staving off a losing week. The $Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI.US)$ was off 0.20% and the $Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC.US)$ was up 0.20%.
$Broadcom (AVGO.US)$ had a good day, closing up 24% after hitting a trifecta with Q4 adjusted earnings beating estimates; AI revenue jumping 220% for the year and the company hit the $1 trillion mark for market cap.
Bitcoin hovered slightly above the $100,000 mark and yield on 10-year note settled Friday at 4.398%, up from last Friday's 4.150%.
Next week all eyes are on the Federal Reserve meeting for an interest-rate decision.
