Zeekr is so far the only Chinese EV maker to announce a presence at CES 2025, and it will be its third consecutive appearance at the tech event since 2023.

Zeekr (NYSE: ZK) will display three models at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025 in Las Vegas early next month, showcasing its strongest products to the US audience at the annual tech event.

The company will present the Zeekr 001 FR, Zeekr 009 Grand, and Zeekr Mix at CES 2025, the world's largest consumer electronics and ICT trade show, it announced today.

The premium electric vehicle (EV) subsidiary of Geely Holding Group will host a press conference and panel discussion on January 6 and January 7 to unveil its future technologies and strategic plans for the global market.

CES 2025 will take place from January 7 to January 10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, US.

Zeekr is the only Chinese EV maker to have so far announced a participation in the event, and it will be its third consecutive appearance in the tech event since 2023.

The company showcased the Zeekr 001 at CES 2023 as well as a Waymo customized model to demonstrate smart driving technologies.

At CES 2024, the company showcased the Zeekr 007 sedan and announced a partnership with Intel in the smart cockpit space.

The three models to be shown at CES 2025 represent the company's strongest technologies, and most personalized products.

The Zeekr 001 FR, launched on October 27, 2023, is Zeekr's electric supercar variant based on its first model, the Zeekr 001 shooting brake.

The model currently has a starting price of RMB 769,000 ($105,100) in China, which is about three times the regular Zeekr 001's RMB 259,000 starting price.

The Zeekr 001 FR is a performance beast, boasting 1,300 horsepower and allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.02 seconds with a rolling start.

The Zeekr 009 Grand is based on Zeekr's second model, the Zeekr 009 MPV (multi-purpose vehicle), and is aimed at business owners and CEOs.

The Zeekr 009 Grand is a four-seater MPV that was launched on April 19 this year at a starting price of RMB 789,000 yuan. The regular Zeekr 009 is a 6/7-seater model with a starting price of RMB 439,000 yuan.

The Zeekr Mix is the cheapest of the three with a starting price of RMB 279,900, but also the most unique.

Zeekr launched the Zeekr Mix on October 23, calling it a large five-seater for families, rather than defining it as an SUV (sport utility vehicle) or MPV, unlike industry practice.

Essentially, the Zeekr Mix has the look of a typical MPV, or minivan, and is therefore often referred to as an MPV in the Chinese media space.

Outside of these three models, Zeekr's current main sellers in China are the regular Zeekr 001, Zeekr 7X SUV, Zeekr 007, and Zeekr X compact SUV, which won't be on display at CES 2025.

Under the wave of automotive intelligence, CES has become the best platform for Chinese automakers to showcase their technological achievements and accelerate the pace of overseas market expansion, Zeekr said.

At CES 2025, Zeekr will showcase leading technologies for the global market for the first time, the company said.

"Only by understanding the different needs of markets around the world with a global perspective can we create highly differentiated and internationally competitive products," it added.

Zeekr is actively expanding into overseas markets and has already entered the passenger car market in more than 40 countries and regions.
