04:57 AM EDT, 04/19/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Rex International Holding's (SGX:5WH) majority-owned unit Masirah Oil recorded gross oil production of 6,227 stock tank barrels per day from Yumna Field in offshore Block 50 Oman over the 23-day period in March.
Masirah said the production was halted for eight days in March to carry out a planned change of the floating storage tanker and for the planned change-out of the mobile offshore production unit with upgraded facilities on-board.
Meanwhile, Rex International's other subsidiary, Lime Petroleum, recorded oil production of 3,561 barrels of oil equivalent per day in March from the Brage Field in Norway.
Rex holds an 86.37% stake in Masirah, which fully owns Block 50 Oman, a 17,000-square-kilometer area east of the Middle Eastern country, where the Yumna Field is located. On the other hand, Lime Petroleum holds a 33.8% interest in the Brage Field.
Shares of Rex International, a Singaporean oil and gas company, dropped 1% recently.
