Open an account with Moomoo MY

To open an account with Moomoo MY, you'll need the following documents:

 Malaysian nationality

1. Malaysia ID card

2. Personal Information (such as tax, employment, financial status)

3. Valid proof of address in Malaysia *

 

Other nationalities

1. Passport

2. Personal Information (such as tax, employment, financial status)

3. Valid proof of address in Malaysia 

 

Valid proof of address requirements 

A valid proof of address must be issued in the last 3 months and include the following information:

1. Your full name

2. Name of the document issuer

3. Your residential address

The following documents are considered valid proof of address:

1. A bank statement

2. A telephone bill

How to open an account with Moomoo MY

To sign up for an account in the app:

1. Install the moomoo app

2. Tap Open Account

3. Follow the instructions to fill in the required information

4. Verify your identity

5. Submit the account application

Notes
1. Once all the information provided is verified, your account will be approved within 1-3 business days. Updates on your progress will be sent via email and app notifications.
2. If additional documents are required, instructions will be sent via email and app notifications.
3. Currently, clients aged 18 to 90 are eligible to open an account with Moomoo MY. If you are over 90 years old, please click here to contact customer service for assistance.
