Advanced Order Description

Advanced Orders allow users to set up specific strategies that will trigger basic orders under certain conditions. Usually, an Advanced Order is not immediately submitted to the exchange but will be queued for execution when the condition is met.

Unless you select specific trading hours, advanced orders will only be triggered during regular trading hours or the regular trading hours (RTH).

To allow more flexibility in setting up advanced orders, the system does not immediately freeze the buying power or positions when you place an advanced order. Only when the condition is met will the buying power or positions become frozen. If there is insufficient buying power or positions in the account at the trigger time, the order may be cancelled.

The specific markets and trading directions supported by the advanced orders are shown in the following table.
