Cathay Pacific announced on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange that Cathay Pacific Group (including airlines, subsidiaries and affiliates) recorded a profit payable profit of HK$4.268 billion in the first half of the year and lost HK$4.999 billion in the same period last year. In the first half of the year, Cathay Pacific's passenger revenue increased to HK$25.013 billion, an increase of 1109.5% over the same period last year; it carried 7.8 million passengers, an increase of 2233.1% over the previous year.
