This is the fourth month in a row that the index has fallen below the 50 boom and bust line. According to the data, Japan's manufacturing output in September was the lowest since June, and the decline in new orders was the biggest since February. New export orders have been shrinking for 19 consecutive months due to weak demand due to the global economic downturn. (Global Market Report)
