Futu: Weekly Trade Volume Up 95%, Number of Traders Up 60%, Driven by A-Shares and HK Stocks

On the Futubull platform, various indicators reflect a surge in trading activity. During the week of September 23 to 27, Futubull's overall trading volume and transaction numbers reached their highest levels in nearly two years. As of Friday, September 27, the cumulative number of traders increased by 60% from the previous week, and trading volume surged by more than 95%. The growth in trading indicators was mainly driven by Hong Kong stocks and A-Shares, with trading amounts soaring by 267% and 468%, respectively, and the number of trading clients increasing by 103% and 188%, respectively. Sector-wise, the focus was on Hong Kong tech stocks (such as Tencent, Alibaba, Meituan, Xiaomi), High-yield Hong Kong stocks, U.S.-listed Chinese stocks (such as Pinduoduo, Alibaba, Futu Holdings), and Hong Kong ETFs. Additionally, ETFs related to Chinese indices also saw rapid growth.
