Investors watched for product revenue segments, with recent news predicting weaker demand for Apple's iPhone 16 and new Apple Intelligence services. iPhone sales came in at $46.22B, vs estimates of $45.04B for the quarter.
Service revenue came in at $24.97B, below estimates.
“Today, Apple is reporting a new September quarter revenue record of $94.9 billion, up 6 percent from a year ago,” Chief Tim Cook said. “During the quarter, we were excited to announce our best products yet, with the all-new iPhone 16 lineup, Apple Watch Series 10, AirPods 4, and remarkable features for hearing health and sleep apnea detection."
