CME's "Fedwatch" Indicates 91.4% Probability of Maintaining Interest Rates in January Next Year

CME's "FedWatch" indicates that there is a 91.4% probability the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates unchanged in January next year, with an 8.6% probability of a 25 basis point rate cut. By March, the likelihood of maintaining the current interest rate drops to 54.9%, while the cumulative probabilities for a 25 basis point rate cut and a 50 basis point cut are 41.7% and 3.4%, respectively.
