Mr. Shih informed Shihai International on 29 February 2024 that he is an independent non-executive director of Country Garden. On 28 February 2024, Country Garden announced on 28 February 2024 that Ever Credit Limited has submitted a petition to liquidate approximately HK$16 million in unpaid loans and interest. The first hearing is scheduled for 17 May 2024. The incident will not affect the company's business or operations and is unrelated to Country Garden and its subsidiaries, according to Sichai International.
