SHARES OF CHINA PACKAGING HOLDINGS LIMITED (“CHINESE PACKAGING”) MAY BE SUBJECT TO A CHANGE. CHAMPION HOLDING (BVI) CO., LTD (THE “CONTRACTOR”) HAS SUBMITTED A CONDITIONAL VOLUNTARY COMPREHENSIVE CASH AGREEMENT TO ACQUIRE ALL ISSUED SHARES OF PACKAGED PACKAGING. The contract has been approved by a number of regulatory bodies, including the National Capital Commission, the Ministry of Commerce, the State Development Commission, the German Federal Cartel Office, the National Foreign Exchange Commission and the Vietnam Competition Commission. However, the agreement is still subject to antitrust clearance from the General Authority of Markets and Markets. The Covenant will continue to work to meet all prerequisites and will post the latest progress in due course. Packaged shareholders and potential investors are reminded that the performance of the offer is not guaranteed and will be void if it fails to be unconditional. This announcement was issued by Li Jiantao, the sole director of the Contracting Party, on 16 May 2024.
