Opinion Network News:Walmart Inc is looking for British retailers to join its online sales platform in an attempt to provide British companies with an e-commerce option other than Amazon.Com Inc and EBay.
Amazon.Com Inc said in a statement that approved British sellers can sell goods on Walmart.com, which is visited by more than 120 million people every month, according to opinion New Media. It is understood that British companies that have entered Walmart Inc's market include wearable technology company Statsports, home and garden product seller BuyBox, sports equipment company Nodor and integrated retailer Pertemba.
To attract sellers, Walmart Inc provides guaranteed two-day delivery services to American consumers for most of the year, as well as other services to help British sellers generate sales revenue from the other side of the Atlantic.
Walmart Inc's e-commerce move comes as the UK government turns its attention to non-EU markets such as the US, Australia, Canada or Japan, which plans to help its companies achieve £1,000bn ($1.22 trillion) in exports by 2030.
