Semiconductor manufacturers such as $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM.US)$ and $United Microelectronics(UMC.US)$ will visit India and hold discussions on chip manufacturing for the electronics, communications equipment, healthcare systems and automotive industries, including the possibility of cooperation with local companies. However, the date of the said visit has not yet been determined and is expected to arrive in India in the next few weeks.
