Waja Konsortium Bhd (WKB) has been granted a contract worth RM279.15 million by TH Tebrau Land Sdn Bhd to serve as the sub-contractor for the One49 Residence project located in Johor Bahru.
According to WKB's Bursa filing today, the project encompasses the construction of five blocks of service apartments, totaling 2,260 units.
Additionally, the contract will encompass substructure construction, main building works, and the podium for two of the towers, namely Tower D and E.
The acceptance of the letter of award on October 5, 2023, means that the commencement date and completion date of the contract will be adjusted to a later date, with a duration of 42 weeks from the revised commencement date of the contract works.
The group's share price remained stable, closing at 8.5 sen today, with a market capitalisation of RM94.79 million.
