The group achieved profit of HK$25.204 million during the period, an increase of 11.51% over the previous year; profit attributable to shareholders of HK$48,000; loss attributable to shareholders of HK$985,000 in the same period last year, turning a loss of HK$985,000 over the same period last year, turning a profit over the previous year; and basic profit per share of 0.01 HK cents.
According to the announcement, the Group's net profit after tax for the six months ended September 30, 2023 was approximately HK$33,000, while net loss after tax was approximately HK$997,000 in the same period last year, mainly due to increased revenue for the six months ended September 30, 2023 and improvements in gross profit margin due to the implementation of more effective measures to control direct costs.
