(NYSE:PVH) shareholders if they were a little worried about the fact that Julie Fuller, the Chief People Officer recently netted about US$1.6m selling shares at an average price of US$109. Probably the most concerning element of the whole transaction is that the disposal amounted to 100% of their entire holding.

PVH Insider Transactions Over The Last Year
Notably, that recent sale by Julie Fuller is the biggest insider sale of PVH shares that we've seen in the last year. That means that an insider was selling shares at slightly below the current price (US$117). As a general rule we consider it to be discouraging when insiders are selling below the current price, because it suggests they were happy with a lower valuation. While insider selling is not a positive sign, we can't be sure if it does mean insiders think the shares are fully valued, so it's only a weak sign. It is worth noting that this sale was 100% of Julie Fuller's holding.
