The Zhitong Finance app learned that on December 17, Li Bin, founder, chairman, and CEO of NIO (09866), drove an ET7 and tested a 150-degree battery pack with ultra-long battery life. After more than 14 hours of driving, it achieved the goal of driving more than 1,000 kilometers with one battery.
The actual measurement this time consumes an average of 13.2 kWh per 100 kilometers of 1,044 kilometers, and the remaining electricity is 3%. It is estimated that it can still drive more than 30 kilometers.
The 150-degree ultra-long battery life battery pack is the world's first heatless and uncontrolled soft pack CTP battery. The cell energy density is as high as 360 Wh/kg. It is currently the product with the highest battery capacity and energy density of power batteries that can be mass-produced in China.
This battery life test marks that the range of smart pure electric vehicles has officially entered the 1,000-kilometer era. This will further drive the transformation of the automotive industry from fuel vehicles to pure electric vehicles.
